Beginning the New Week (April 14th - April 16th)

Forecast for Starkville:
Beautiful past few days with some cloudier weather coming. However, warmth is here to stay! You can find a summary of the weather below:

Sunday, April 14th:
Starting off the morning with a temperature around 55. Showers possible in the afternoon with a high around 68. Temperature falling to around 56 overnight with cloudy skies. Light southeast wind.

Monday, April 15th:
Cloudy in the morning, with peaks of sun in the afternoon. High around 80. Temperature staying mild under mostly cloudy skies overnight, low of 64. Light southeast wind.

Tuesday, April 16th:
Mostly cloudy sky throughout the day. High around 82. Small chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Warm temps continue to linger overnight with a low of 62. Light southeast wind.

Discussion: Clouds are returning tonight associated with a small disturbance coming through the Starkville area. This activity will bring the chance of showers as well as slightly cooler temperatures. These showers will push through Sunday afternoon but clouds will linger through the early portion of the week. These clouds, as well as moist air, will keep temperatures rather mild at night. Expect some breaks in the clouds during the day Monday and Tuesday, so temps will get quite warm surpassing the 80 degree mark. Afternoon thunderstorms are a small possibility Tuesday.
